I'm an Arizona-based content creator, social media expert, and mom of three (with a coffee mug practically attached to my hand at all times). I started The Content Maven in 2023 to help entrepreneurs and bloggers use Pinterest to drive real, lasting traffic, so their content finally works as hard as they do.
I genuinely love this world- the strategy, the storytelling, the way the right piece of content can completely change the trajectory of someone's business. But through the years, here's what I discovered:
Social media is burning everyone out.
Business owners feel lost.
Accounts are started.
Accounts are abandoned.
Most people feel like they're lost at sea, but online.
And, honestly? I felt this way too. I started to realize that I wasn't trusting the Lord with my business online. And while I've been a Christian since I was a really little girl, surrendering my business to Him is something that was really hard.
It still is, actually.
I also love my Maltipoo, Bear. He's the best!
But I heard God ask me to start talking about it.
Which honestly was really terrifying, but I'm taking a leap of faith and trusting that the Lord can use my business to encourage YOU in your business! I get jazzed up when good marketing and good ideass intersect. But, what I've found is that so many good ideas fall by the wayside because business owners are burnt out with trying to figure out how to be online every. single. day. It feels like a soul sucking journey that no one prepared us for.
But, what if I told you that we HAVE been prepared for it? That God created YOU for this time period for a reason and that He wants to use YOU and your business in a big way?
Marketing online isn't for the faint of heart. But thankfully, we serve a God who does not grow weary and who does not faint. (Is. 40:28) He wants us to trust Him with our businesses and our abilities to show up every day with the creativity, ideas, and abilities that He's given to us.
If you're tired, I see you. I'm tired too. But, leaning on the Lord to help me grow this blog and business has been something that has freed my heart and soul up so much.
