If you’ve ever caught yourself whispering, “I just want social media to work already,” this one’s for you.

Because underneath the stress of content calendars, algorithm updates, and endless scrolling… there are three desires I see in every business owner I coach- whether they say them out loud or not.

And if you’ve been beating yourself up for wanting more from your social media efforts? I need you to know: You’re not crazy. You’re not “behind.”And no- you’re not asking for too much. Let’s get into the real talk about what you want from social- and why you totally deserve it.

3 Desires Every Business Owner Has for Social Media

  1. You Want To Be Seen By The Right People

Let’s be real... you don’t just want more followers. You want more of the right people to find you. The ones who actually need what you offer. The ones who get your voice and your energy. The ones who are actively looking for a solution like yours, even if they don’t fully know how to describe what they’re looking for yet. But what happens instead? You spend hours creating content that disappears in 24 hours. You try trending audio that feels nothing like your brand. You show up consistently… and still hear crickets. It's maddening.

Here’s the truth: visibility without alignment is just noise. You don’t need more posts. You need the right message reaching the right people. That means getting clear on who your ideal audience is, what language they use when they talk about their problems, and where they actually spend time online. (Hint: it might not be where you think!) I teach my 1:1 coaching clients how to decode this and use it to craft content that acts like a magnet—not a megaphone. Because when your words meet the right eyes, growth feels effortless.

  2. You Want To Know It's Working

Raise your hand if you've ever said, "I’ve been posting, but I have no idea if any of this is actually helping my business." You’re not unreasonable for wanting to see results. Social media should drive SOMETHING, whether it’s more traffic to your site, booked-out coaching calls, products added to carts, or new leads on your email list. But too often, social becomes a “spray and pray” situation. You’re trying everything: trends, reels, carousels, Pinterest pins, maybe even memes… but you don’t actually know what’s working and that is seriously exhausting.

Here’s what's needed: You need to define what working means for you, and then reverse-engineer your content to move in that direction. For example, one of my clients came to me convinced Pinterest wasn’t working for her business. After one strategy session, we updated her profile, repurposed a few blogs into evergreen pins, and tracked conversions properly. Within 6 weeks? Her website traffic doubled. And it kept climbing—from content she wasn’t even actively posting anymore. That’s the power of strategy.

  3. You Want To Get Off The Content Hampster Wheel You didn’t start this business to become a 24/7 social media manager. You want freedom. Freedom to take weekends off. Freedom to batch content in a few focused hours a week. Freedom to build a business that runs while you rest. But when you’re stuck creating on the fly, chasing engagement, and feeling pressure to stay "relevant"... social media starts to feel like a full-time job you didn’t apply for.

You need a clear strategy that actually supports your goals and peace of mind. Pinterest, for example, is a traffic machine if it’s set up right. Instagram can bring leads if it speaks directly to your audience’s pain points. Even Threads or email can drive results- when you’re not just checking boxes, but actually solving problems. Most of my 1:1 clients come to me when they’re tired. Not lazy. Not unmotivated. Just over it. They’re ready for strategy that creates space. They want their content to work harder so they can stop working around the clock. And you know what? They deserve that and so do YOU.

So... what if you didn't have to figure this out alone?

If these three desires hit a little too close to home, it’s not because you’re doing something wrong. It’s because you’ve been trying to “DIY” a strategy in a noisy, chaotic online space. If you’re ready for clarity, results, and actual breathing room, then this is your sign to join the waitlist for my 1:1 coaching. This is where the real transformation can start to happen.

Whether you’re a coach, service provider, or product-based business, your strategy should reflect you, not the algorithm. We’ll map out your visibility game plan, your conversion path, and your content rhythm and we will do it together. You don’t have to burn out to grow.

Let’s stop settling for surviving on social. You deserve strategy that works. You deserve peace. You deserve to be seen by the right people without losing your mind in the process.

Here’s to a smarter, simpler social and on purpose!
