Review: Infusion Coffee & Tea

My husband, sister, brother-in-law and I all love coffee. We are always finding and suggesting new coffee spots to try around Arizona, but have rarely had the chance to actually dedicate time to checking any of them out- especially together.

Finally we said enough is enough and decided to set aside time to trying new local coffee shops that look good! So I'm going to start sharing them with you here because, if you're reading this far, then you are a content maven too AND there's a good chance you love coffee as well!

Last week, we checked out Infusion Coffee & Tea in Phoenix, Arizona. First impressions? The outside of this coffee shop looked a little sketch and there was only one car in the desolate parking lot. Learning to never judge a book by it's cover, we headed in and were pleasantly surprised!

I decided to order one of their seasonal drinks and got the Tan Line.

Oh my gosh it was incredible. I tried to look it up on their website but it wasn't listed there, BUT I promise it was on the menu. It sorta reminded me of a Vietnamese Iced Coffee but it has a hint of cocount flavoring (plus the shavings on top too) to make it stand out. My sister ordered the same one and we both loved it.

The inside was eclectic and warm with a great vibe. There was even a clock on the wall that said "Where's Patrick?" which we were assuming could have been an inside joke between the employees there. BUT, Dani and I often (very often actually) will shout "I have Patrick!" to each other when we are in a crowded situation to let the other know that one of us has the kids. We have four kids between us and if we are out running errands or something and get split up, we should "I have Patrick!" so we know who has the kids.

Random, I know.

It's an inside joke that has likely confused hundreds of people through the years and we always think it's funny. It started because we are movie buffs and pulled it from a line in The Devil Wears Prada when Andrea calls to Miranda, I have Patrick!, after she got him on the phone for her.

This story really means nothing except for that we walked in and saw the clocks on the wall and died laughing. Only we would think it's funny it's fine everything is fine.

LOL

Anyways. I thought the coffee shop was lacking in natural ambient light which is always something I look for. But otherwise, it was a great coffee and a good find. Plus, it had a drive through which local coffee shops often don't have. It's nice to know I could swing by and get an iced Tan Line before the summer is over!

I really love good coffee. And, checking out local coffee shops is something that we have loved to do for a long time now. Plus, anytime we can go inside and incorporate one of our inside jokes, that's a win.

'Til next time!
